Hans Stamer has to be ranked
among the greatest blues and R&B vocalists anywhere...He was the frontman for the legendary R&B Allstars for over 15 years, and has performed with James Brown, Ike and Tina Turner,
and many, many others. His voice has been heard on jingles worldwide. Before his re-discovery in 1997 due to the success of "No Special Rider", the last recorded output by this great master
was only available on two critically acclaimed albums for RCA with the Hans Stamer Band in the 1970's. His last album with co-hort Andreas Schuld, "You Got The Bread...We Got The Jam!" also features British legend Long John Baldry and ace drummer Chris Nordquist.
Andreas Schuld's unique guitar stylings and production skills have
been heard on many albums, including the Juno-nominated recordings "No
Special Rider" with duo partner Hans Stamer , "Alive & Loose" by Kenny
"Blues Boss" Wayne, and "Raffi Radio" by Raffi. He is a sought-after producer, the latest project being the critically acclaimed "Remembering Leadbelly" by the late Long John Baldry, considered by many critics to be the ultimate Leadbelly tribute. One of the most-recorded guitarists on the West Coast, Andreas can also be heard on recent CDs by Laura
Doyle, Susan Crowe, Raffi, Leonard & Sample, as well as the TV series "Nightman", "Cold Squad", and "Being Ian". He has played the blues with
George "Harmonica" Smith, Mighty Joe Young, Eddie Shaw, Robben Ford, Philip Walker, Willie Dixon, and many others. Most recently, he was heard
during the Closing Ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics, and the Warner Brothers movie "Firewall", starring Harrison Ford.
