Graeme Coleman
(keyboards) is a prolific and critically acclaimed composer, producer and pianist. He was the principal composer for the band Skywalk and has scored for over 20 major movies and many TV series, earning many awards in the process.
Laura Doyle
(vocals, guitar) is quickly becoming known as one of Canada's most talented singer/songwriters. Her songs have been described as being "perfect for movies" and have been used in over 20 movies and TV series. Having been described as a cross between Sarah McLaughlin and Nora Jones, she is currently finishing her second album.
Miles Foxx Hill
(bass) has played on over 300 album projects, for artists as diverse as P.J. Perry and the Rankin Family, to children's entertainer Raffi. In 1991, Miles received a Juno Award and a Gold Record for his work on Renegade Romantic by Paul Janz. Most recently, Miles has been recording with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, and Dee Daniels.
Sue Leonard
(vocals) is one of the most in-demand and recorded female vocalists on the West Coast. Over the past twenty years, Sue has performed and recorded with a stellar list of headliners, including kd lang, Bon Jovi, Ken Hamm, and many others. In 2005 she was voted best Canadian female vocalist by readers of the Canadian Music Scene.
Russell Marsland
(guitar, vocals) has long been one of Vancouver's most prolific guitarists. He has shared the stage with B.B. King, the Allman Brothers, and War. After having performed and recorded with hundreds of other artists, Russell released his first solo album, Dig Deep, in 2005.
Brian Newcombe
(bass) has performed with such artists such as Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Schuld & Stamer, Peabo Bryson, Philip Bailey, Oleta Adams, Bryan Adams, Paul Anka, Kenny Loggins and Chicago. One of Canada's top session bassists, he has recorded with Heart, Jim Brickman and many others too numerous to mention.
Chris Nordquist
(drums) is regarded by many of his peers as one of the greatest drummers ever in the blues genre. Affectionately nicknamed "The Wrist" many years ago by his admirers, he has performed with countless blues legends, including Big Mama Thornton, Jay McShann, Robert Lockwood Jr., Taj Mahal, Shuggie Otis, Pine Top Perkins, and John Hammond Jr..
Adam Rohrlick
(sax, keyboards) is a true multi-intrumentalist - being highly proficient on guitar AND sax AND keyboards. Not surprisingly, he has been in high demand for over 25 years, working with the cream of the crop in the Vancouver music scene. Equally at home playing the blues, R&B, or a Jazz standard, he was seen recently performing with Herlin Riley, Walter Blanding and Victor Goines (Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra).
Andreas Schuld
(guitars) has been heard on hundreds of records, including the Juno-nominated albums "No Special Rider" with duo partner Hans Stamer, and "Alive & Loose" by Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne. He is a sought-after producer (Long John Baldry) and can be heard on recent CDs by Raffi, Leonard & Sample, as well as the TV series "Being Ian". He has played the blues with George "Harmonica" Smith, Mighty Joe Young, Eddie Shaw, Robben Ford, Philip Walker, Willie Dixon, and many others.
Shawn Soucy
(drums,percussion) has been one of the busiest drummers in Canada for more than 20 years. He has toured and recorded with countless artists including One Horse Blue, The Blue Shadows, Farmers' Daughter, Ellen McIllwayne, Joel Feeney, Lisa Brokop, Doug and the Slugs, and many others. Shawn is also the co-inventor (with Russ Marsland) of the fabulous Mr. Big Shot drum sticks, and runs a successful multi-media production company called Spirit Media.
Hans Stamer
(vocals, guitar) is ranked among the greatest blues and R&B vocalists in the world. He was the frontmant for the legendary R&B Allstars for over 15 years, and has performed with James Brown, Ike and Tina Turner, and many, many others. Before his re-discovery in 1997 due to the success of "No Special Rider", the last recorded output by this great master was only available on two critically acclaimed albums for RCA with the Hans Stamer Band in the 1970's.
Randall Stoll (drums) is one of Canada's most sought-after drummers.
He just finished recording a new album with Ann Wilson (Heart) and a tour with Tom Cochrane. His band "Soulstream" performs every Monday and Tuesday at Bar None.
Dave Vidal (guitar) has played with blues greats Taj Mahal, Lowell
Fulsom, John Hammond Jr., Big Joe Duskin, Amos Garrett, and many others. A master of tone and phrasing, Dave is regarded as a 'King of the Blues' by many of his peers. And if that wasn't enough - Dave is also known
all over the world as being a Tube-Amp repair specialist, counting everyone from Bryan Adams to AC/DC among his clients.
Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne
(piano, vocals) is considered one of the world's top blues pianists. Aside from being a featured headliner at festivals worldwide, he has backed artists ranging from Charles Mingus, Jimmy Reed, Sonny Rhodes, Joe Louis Walker & Jeff Healey. Kenny's new album "Let It Loose" just won the 2006 Juno Award for Best Blues Album.
