His recent collaboration with Edmonton violinist/fiddler Shannon Johnson, produced two critically
acclaimed CDs, "Dear Madonna" & the 1997 Juno nominated "Victory Train".
1997 saw the release of 2 new Bill Bourne CDs - a solo project - 'Farmer, Philanthropist & Musician' and the
collaborative traditional country blues project, Bourne, Schuld & Stamer -'No Special Rider'. A fiercely independent musician, Bill Bourne has and continues to create his own niche in the overloaded
musical world of the 1990s.
