EVENT DESCRIPTION

 On Friday, August 11th get ready for a super awesome DJ night with the Diamond DJ Collective! Unlike the other musical acts, this night will run from 9pm-12am. The overall theme of the evening is going to be Upbeat and Fun! No classic rock, no crazy Top 40 but a mixture between 80s 90s disco Motown soul indie canadiana and more. To take place on the 3rd Floor of the Cotton Factory. 

Dj's Donna Lovejoy, Fazooli, Rosé and Kristin Archer join forces, mixing together varying years of experience, styles, and eras to bring you one killer dance party. From old school, indie rock, pop jams, hip hop, house, and electronic, we’re dropping dancefloor gems to make your body rock.

Doors Open 9:00pm. 

Party is located on the 3rd floor of the Cotton Factory. 

We will also have a free shuttle service to shuttle people from King Willimas St and James St N to The Cotton Factory departing at 8:30 and 9:00 pm and returning at 11:30 pm and 12:00 am.

The Quilt of Belonging

The Quilt of Belonging will be exhibited at The Cotton Factory in Hamilton from July 10 until August 16, 2017.  The Quilt of Belonging is a textile art project, spanning 120 feet.  It is comprised of 263 blocks, each created to recognize Canada’s diversity.  It celebrates our common humanity and promotes compassion among people. This Canadian icon Exhibit will also include daily program. Programming is continuous and diverse, and was developed to include a breadth of activities from a variety of cultural groups within the region of Hamilton Halton and Brant. It includes the following elements: Weekly demonstrations, Weekend workshops, Thursday Night Talks, Friday Night Performances, Saturday Night Concerts, A Grand Opening Event (July 10th)
