TEMPUS TORMENTUM

EVENT DESCRIPTION

(James Rewucki / Canada / 81m)

A drifter passing through a small town is drugged by three masked psychopaths and forced into a bizarre game of cat and mouse. He is chased through a series of more and more bizarre events until, in the end, he finds that this evening of terror has lasting consequences. It’s a feel bad film, nasty and brutish, red in tooth and claw.

James Rewucki is the writer / director of the 2008 arthouse horror Aegri Somnia. Aegri Somnia received wide critical praise and was distributed internationally by R Squared films, it was selected as a list candidate for the 366 Best Weird Movies of All Time. James has been a DIY filmmaker for over 30 years, he also composes film music under the name Dead Air Animal. James composes the scores for his own films, and most of the music is recorded before the film has begun production, the scores generally inspire the screenplay and visuals.
