On April 14th join gritLIT and award-winning author, Eric Walters, for our Master Class Series on Children's stories.gritLIT's Writing Master Classes offer established and emerging writers a chance to hear advice from some of Canada’s best authors in a small group setting. 

A member of the Order of Canada, Eric Walters is one of the most prolific and respected writers in the country. He has written over 90 books for children and has won more than 100 awards in Canada and internationally. Join the author as he offers tips on how to capture the interest of young readers, create relatable characters and find your voice by writing for both your readers and yourself.

About gritLIT

gritLIT is Hamilton’s annual literary festival, a four-day celebration of Canadian authors. Since its inception in 2004, the festival has built a reputation with readers in the Golden Horseshoe as a place to get “up close and personal” with their favourite authors and to discover new voices.
