Kirsten Gauthier - CMO of 48North
Kirsten is an entrepreneur, creative thinker and leader with over 20 years of award-winning experience. Founder of a successful graphic production company- The Production Kitchen,- a design think tank, THE INN and a Social Enterprise Non-Profit, Good Foot Delivery, a local delivery service that employs people identifying with a developmental disability. Kirsten has been recognized by Print Action Magazine as one of Canada’s 50 Most Influential People in Graphic Communications. Also a finalist for Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the year, she has also won a number of Art Director Club of Canada, Communication Arts awards and a JUNO nomination in Album Design.

Basem Hanna - Co-Founder and Board Member of TerrAscend
Basem has extensive managerial and operational experience in both the cannabis and real estate sectors. As co-founder and former CEO of TerrAscend Corp., Basem was the President and CEO for the company from inception in January 2014 through to the successful completion of a $52.5M, non-brokered, private placement with JW Asset Management and Canopy Growth Corporation (WEED.TO). During his tenure, Basem oversaw all aspects of the business including licensing, capital markets, construction and staffing. Basem resigned his position as CEO in January 2018 but remains on the Board of Directors of TerrAscend.

Josh Lyon - VP Marketing and Partnerships at Hiku
Josh is the Head of Branding and Partnerships at Toyko Smoke. Tokyo Smoke merged with DOJA Cannabis in January 2018 to form Hiku Brands Company Ltd. The merger created Canada's first premium cannabis brand house with vertically integrated operations. Josh has been with Tokyo Smoke since its inception in 2015 ; first hand experiencing the evolution of the cannabis industry.

Tegan Adams - CEO of New Maple Holdings
Tegan is the CEO of New Maple holdings, a diversified cannabis company operating both as a cultivation partner with Northern Green Canada, and as the owner of a late stage application passed security near Toronto. Tegan's background is in agriculture, and she received both her BSc and MSc in agriculture & economics from the University of British Columbia. She started in the cannabis industry in 2014, helping with business, strategy and licensing for new applicants in both public and private marketplaces. After pitching and co-launching Canada's first university course on cannabis, she joined Eurofins scientific a Health Canada accredited laboratory which has completed close to 150 submissions. Working with New Maple, Tegan's focus will be on helping the company expand both locally and internationally through strategy and innovation.

Rubsun Ho - CEO of Crowdmatrix
Rubsun is the Chief Crowd Pleaser at Crowdmatrix; a regulated, online investment portal that makes it easy for individuals to access alternative investments that were traditionally only available to professional investors. For example, Crowdmatrix is currently hosting an offering for the Matco Cannabis Investment Fund that gives investors diversified exposure to companies across the spectrum of the cannabis industry.

Sara Zborovski - Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright
Sara Zborovski practises regulatory, commercial and intellectual property law. She assists companies regulated by Health Canada in obtaining market access and in all areas of compliance. She has experience in a wide range of matters involving the innovative pharmaceutical and biotechnology, natural health product, medical device and food and beverage industries. Sara advises clients on product classification, clinical trials, market authorization and market access strategies, including clinical trial applications and agreements, product licence strategies, market access strategies.

Marvin Singer - Senior Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright 
During the last 35 years, Marvin Singer has provided corporations with the benefit of his extensive experience related to corporate and business matters. He advises public and private corporations in structuring and implementing acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, mergers, corporate reorganizations and equity financings. Marvin regularly assists companies in negotiating with governments and regulatory authorities globally. He has broad experience as a corporate finance lawyer, acting for both issuers and investment dealers in Canadian and cross-border public offerings, private placements and listings. 

Matt Shalhoub - Managing Director of Green Acre Capital
Matt is co-founder and Managing Director of Green Acre Capital, a Canadian based private cannabis fund that is actively deploying their $25M Fund I. The fund's focus is on cannabis ancillary businesses in the Canadian market, and investments in international companies that can benefit from a strategic relationship to the Canadian market. Matt is currently on the board of portfolio companies Green Tank Holdings, and Humble & Fume, and was a board member of Tokyo Smoke up until their merger with DOJA in early 2018. 

Brice Scheschuk - CEO of Globalive Capital; CFO of Pragmatic Solutions
Brice, CPA, CA is CEO of Globalive Capital and CFO of Pragmatic Solutions. He was a co-founder and CFO of WIND Mobile as well as CEO of Globalive Communications. Globalive has made three cannabis investments: Nuuvera (acquired by Aphria), Tokyo Smoke (merged with DOJA to form HIKU and acquiring Weed MD) and Grobo (private company). Brice has over twenty years’ experience building and operating companies at Globalive, WIND Mobile, Leitch Technology and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lorilynn McCorrister - Co-founder & CMO of Weedbox
Lorilynn is the co-founder and CMO: PR and communications professional with 4 years start up experience, former music industry professional and artist manager, crossfit and nutrition coach. Daily cannabis user.

Mike Dacks - Vice President of Legal and International Business Affairs at MedReleaf Corp
Mike is Vice President of Legal and International Business Affairs at MedReleaf Corp., Canada's first and only ISO 9001 and ICH-GMP certified cannabis producer. In addition to his legal function, Mike has played a lead role in MedReleaf’s efforts in applying for and obtaining operating licenses in international markets and in executing on MedReleaf’s international distribution partnerships. He is an experienced international commercial lawyer and business development executive with over ten years of providing trusted and pragmatic legal and strategic advice to rapidly scaling companies around the world.
