HS!CC Winter Concert "Hyggeligt"

*Tickets available at the door!*

Please join us!  You are invited to enjoy Hamilton Sings! Community Choir's winter concert "Hyggeligt", and bakesale fundraiser.  Tickets are sliding scale - all proceeds go towards supporting the choir and HARRRP.

"Hyggeligt" is a Danish word about coziness, togetherness and spoiling your senses.  We have prepared a night of scrumptious sounds and tastes to join together as a community in togetherness.

Music: we bring you a haunting Mongrolian lullaby, Nana; the roaring Stan Rogers' Watching the Apples Grow; a gorgeous Danish lullaby Solen er saa rød mor, and our grand finale Kwaheri, a Kenyan goodbye song. We are also honoured to include music by our own Bob Edmonds, and Carol Greene.  We will be joining Carol performing her song with soulful bluesy harmonies

Food: Come enjoy our bake sale.  There will be a few vegan and gluten free items.

About Hamilton Sings! Community Choir: We like to sing traditional, community, and folk-style songs from around the world!
We are a non-audition, mixed-voice choir for adults and older youth.  Our members may be new to singing or to choirs, or they may bring lots of musical experience. Everyone wants a fun and friendly place to make music together.

There is no audition! Choir membership includes healthy, functional voice coaching, and musical skills development.
