CityLAB Matchmaker Event 2019

Join us as we launch this year's CityLAB challenges with City of Hamilton staff pitching potential projects to faculty members from McMaster, Mohawk, and Redeemer. Together, we are helping to make our city a better place for all through innovative experiential learning opportunities for post secondary students.

City staff - this is your chance to share your expertise and pitch challenges aligned with the Strategic Plan that you think could benefit from fresh and creative student and faculty perspectives.

Faculty members - take this opportunity to learn about some of the complex challenges faced by City staff and find exciting and relevant projects for your students for the 2019/2020 academic year.

CityLAB Challenges - All of our CityLAB challenges will be listed on our website before April 26th and faculty will have the opportunity to apply directly to take on a CityLAB challenge. For more information, visit https://www.citylabhamilton.com/facultywelcome

CityLAB Hamilton is a pilot program between the City of Hamilton, McMaster University, Mohawk College and Redeemer University College that brings together student, academic, and civic leaders to co-create a better Hamilton for all.

Paid parking is available in the City Hall parking lot, accessible from Hunter Street, Bay Street, or Jackson Street. We also have a bike rack directly in front of our building. The nearest Sobi hubs are at the corners of Bay and Main, MacNab and Main, and Hunter and Park Streets, and the MacNab bus terminal is located on the north side of Main Street.

CityLAB is located on the second floor of the former CFL Hall of Fame building. We have elevator access located to the left of the front staircase as well as an accessible washroom.
